Today, cuz we're in the festive season, an interview i (simon) did with the peeps at our favorite musicblog 'amstereogalaxy'! from amsterdam and a great new strfckr remix!! Ho! ho! Ho!!

SL:"Welcome Amstereo, or may i call u Galaxy? We have to admit we get all our cool stuff we dj from u guys, so thanks!! ok! enuff asslicking, lets get on with the show!
When did you get the idea for starting a blog. and did your
friends think you where a bit loony... or didnt u have any friends
and this is why you started a blog??"

AG: Om eerlijk te zijn ben ik de blog begonnen omdat ik geen vrienden had. Sterker nog ik had zelfs geen contact met andere mensen..
Dankzij de blog kom ik nu wat vaker in contact met andere mensen, wat echt te gek is! Zoals dit interview met jullie, daar had ik vorig jaar echt niet over durven dromen..."

SL:"who are your favorite producers, artists, at the moment?"
AG:"Amstereo Galaxy: My favorite producers are Daft Punk (still alive), Justice, SebastiAn, Mr. Oizo, Boys Noize and a shout out to Netherlands' upcoming producer Rogerseventytwo. I always love his tracks! Blogs I love? Fuck blogs!.. Oh uhhh no, I like Discodelicious, Kidz By Colette, Bigstereo, Real Porn Adventures, Sex Secrects and Biggest Boobs Alive.
Your bonus question sucks, I never buy records.. I always download everything.. Oh uhhh no, the first record I bought was Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing. Last one was TMF Top-40 2007.
Oh shit, just realised I had to answer in Dutch, well that's too late now! "

SL: "Let's try it in English, ok? It's freaking me out all this Dutch!
Palmsout, another music blog is giving parties. you plan on doing any? or are u doing some now already?"
AG:"Yes! I already gave 1 party in the Flex Bar, Amsterdam... and it was BANGING! It was a succes, so I'll keep giving parties! The next one is 26 januari, so I hope to see you there... You're invited of course!"

SL:"do you think blogging is the new form of spreading music? or will it always be a cd (or stick, or i-phone); something you can hold! ?
I really do think blogging is the new way of spreading music. New tracks appear on the internet before thay release in shops, so people will search for new shit on blogs. I also think there always be cd's and vinyl. Cool graphics and extra's you have to buy at the shopt, but music can be downloaded from the internet.?"

SL:"what do you think about live instruments with dj's?"
AG:"I love live performences, also from DJ's! They can build up a show perferctly and create a huge climax where everybody goes wild.. That can't be really achieved by just playing records."

SL:"what does it take to make a great night out?"
AG:"Alcohol! Well here in The Netherlands that's basicly the main ingredient for a great party.. People get loose and forget about their "image" and arrogance. Music (of course!) is also real important and DJ's that play the music.. I often hear DJ's play great music but they achieve to fucking it up by not building up their set, that's a waste!"

SL:"and my last but maybe most important question: on what superstar do you have a crush?
AG:"Oprah Winfrey"
